At The Doggy Paddle Club, we believe dogs have an amazing way of bringing people together. Our community projects are designed to support local schools, charities, rescue organisations and families through education, creativity, fundraising and fun.
COMMUNITY ART PROJECT

At The Doggy Paddle Club, we believe learning about dogs can be creative, educational and fun. We’re delighted to be working with three local primary schools on a community art project that gives children the opportunity to explore dog welfare, behaviour and the amazing roles dogs play in our lives.

SUPPORTING DOG RESCUE CENTRES
Giving rescue dogs time to play, explore and simply enjoy being a dog.
Life in a rescue environment can be challenging for some dogs. At The Doggy Paddle Club in Barton upon Humber, we want to support rescue centres by giving dogs in their care the opportunity to enjoy time away from their usual environment in a safe, private and enriching space.
Whether it’s enjoying a swim, exploring enrichment activities or simply having some one-to-one fun, our rescue sessions are about giving dogs positive experiences, mental stimulation and something different to enjoy while they wait for their forever homes.

Community Get-Togethers – Coming Soon
Once The Doggy Paddle Club is open, we hope to introduce relaxed community get-togethers designed to bring people together, encourage new friendships and provide opportunities to get out and enjoy some company.
You won't need to own a dog to take part. Anyone who is comfortable around animals will be welcome, whether you love dogs, would like to meet new people, feel a little isolated or simply want to become more involved in the local community.
As the idea develops, activities could take place both at The Doggy Paddle Club and out in the community, with opportunities such as local walks, informal get-togethers and other activities that help people connect and get out and about.
No dog required — just a love of animals and a willingness to say hello.
YOUNG TRAINERS ACADEMY
Learning About Dogs through Fun & Education
A fun, educational programme giving children the opportunity to learn about dog care, behaviour, safety and responsible ownership through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Children will build confidence, develop practical knowledge and learn how to understand and interact safely with dogs.
Working towards AQA recognition
We are currently working towards offering the Academy through the AQA Unit Award Scheme. Once approved, children who successfully complete the programme will receive an AQA certificate recognising their achievement.
For young dog lovers aged 5–12 — no dog ownership required
